Score entry

There are several methods for entering scores. Broadly speaking, there are two types: participants entering the scores, or the organizer entering the scores (based on paper scorecards). The organizer needs to decide on the input method before play begins.

  1. Participant input
    1. Input per pairing
  2. Organizer input (based on paper scorecards)
    1. Individual input
    2. Batch input for all participants
    3. Input for all participants in an Excel file

1. Participant input

1-1. Input per pairing

The input function for each pairing is provided as an input method for participants. Pressing the "Score" button on the right (left on smartphones) of the pairing page will display the scorecard for each group. Pressing the "Edit" button on the left of that page will display the editing screen. The input function for each pairing is also compatible with smartphones, so input is possible during play. Please be careful not to disrupt the game's progress.

This function allows you to edit the scores of 1 to 4 players in a group. When using this function, only one player in the group should enter the scores. If multiple players display the same input screen, inconsistencies in the score data may occur (this issue will be fixed in a future update).

This function does not have a save button; it automatically saves periodically. Therefore, when referring to another screen, you do not need to press a save button after entering scores.

On the smartphone version of the input screen, there is a "Leaderboard" button at the bottom of the screen. Pressing this button allows you to check the current score status, including players from other groups.

Once play is finished and score entry is complete, have all players in the group confirm the entered scores (more precisely, a pre-designated marker will confirm the players' scores). After confirmation, press the "Submit" button.

This method assumes that at least one participant in each group has a smartphone. Also, using a smartphone during play may disrupt the game's progress. If you experience any problems, please consider the method described in section 2 below.

2. Input by the Organizer

The input function described below assumes the most common method of score submission: participants fill out paper scorecards and submit them to the organizer. This function requires the organizer to input the scores based on the paper scorecards.

2-1. Individual Input

You can input scores individually using the "Edit" button displayed next to each player's name on the score list page.

This function does not have a save button; it automatically saves periodically. Therefore, when referring to another screen, you do not need to press a save button after entering scores.

Once all scores have been entered, please press the "Confirm All Scores" button in the upper right corner of the score list screen.

2-2. Batch Input for All Participants

You can display the batch input screen by clicking the "Show Batch Edit Form" button that appears when you click the "Edit All Scores" button in the upper left corner of the score list page.

This function does not have a save button; it automatically saves periodically. Therefore, when referring to another screen, you do not need to press a save button after you have finished entering scores.

Once you have finished entering all scores, click the "Confirm All Scores" button in the upper right corner of the score list screen.

2-3. Entering All Participants' Scores in an Excel File

Clicking the "Download Batch Score Input File (Excel Format)" link that appears when you click the "Edit All Scores" button in the upper left corner of the score list page will download an Excel file.

Open this file in Excel, enter the scores, and save it. Then, select the Excel file using the "Select File" button and click "Upload" to reflect the scores. Please note that already entered scores will be overwritten.
