How to determine rankings in case of a tie in scores

You can define how rankings are determined when "Net Score" (or "TOTAL Score" in scratch tournaments) are the same. Specify the method with the highest priority as "1.", and the next highest priority methods as "2." and beyond.

Prioritize lower handicap

Prioritizes the player with the lower handicap. Not available in scratch tournaments.

Prioritize older players

Prioritizes older players based on the participant's date of birth information. Inputting the participant's date of birth is required.

Prioritize women

Prioritizes women based on the participant's gender information. Inputting the participant's gender information is required.

Countback

Scores are compared from the later holes, and the player with fewer strokes is ranked higher.

Matching Scorecard

The total scores are compared in the following order, with the lower score ranking higher:

  1. Total score for the IN course (holes 10-18)
  2. Total score for the IN course (holes 13-18)
  3. Total score for the IN course (holes 16-18)
  4. Countback from hole 18

Matching Scorecard (KGA)

The total scores are compared in the following order, with the lower score ranking higher.

  1. For tournaments with two or more rounds, the score of the final round.
  2. The total score of holes 10 through 18 of the final round.
  3. The total score of holes 13 through 18 of the final round.
  4. The total score of holes 16 through 18 of the final round.
  5. The score of hole 18 of the final round.
  6. The total score of holes 4 through 9 of the final round.
  7. The total score of holes 7 through 9 of the final round.
  8. The score of hole 9 of the final round.
