"Compekun" offers features for aggregating group (team) scores and for tallying scores across multiple rounds.
Group Score Aggregation
The group aggregation feature allows you to tally the scores of all group members or automatically select the scores of the top X players (as listed below) and use their combined total as the group score:
- Scores of the top 2 players
- Scores of the top 3 players
- Scores of the top 4 players
Multi-Round Score Aggregation
When aggregating scores across multiple rounds for group-based tournaments, you can choose from the following three calculation methods:
- Select top players for each round
- Select top players based on scores across all rounds
- Two players play on each course; selection is based on the combined total of the top players (ties broken by the next-best score) (Commonly known as: "2-Player, 2-Course Team Match")
How to Configure the "2-Player, 2-Course Team Match"
Please note that when using the "2-Player, 2-Course Team Match" format, you must configure not only the tournament format but also the rounds and pairings as follows:
- Tournament Format
- Enable group aggregation (select "Scores of the top X players")
- Set the group aggregation type to "Two players play on each course; selection is based on the combined total of the top players (ties broken by the next-best score)"
- Rounds
- Pairings
- Configure the team to play across the 2 courses
