"Compekun" proceeds with tournament score tabulation assuming that either the tournament participants or the organizers will input the scores.
The general procedure is to have the golf course handle the score tabulation. While it's convenient to submit scorecards to the golf course staff and receive a paper results sheet later, it lacks digital data, limiting sharing to PDFs or photos. Compekun felt that this approach didn't preserve the records or memories.
Although it requires you to handle the work yourself instead of relying on golf course staff, it allows for more flexible handling of score data. For example, holding a tournament with multiple rounds and determining an overall ranking can be easily achieved by using it in conjunction with Excel. We encourage you to use Compekun to digitize your score tabulation data.
Compekun offers the following two types of score input functions:
You input scores hole by hole using your smartphone. It's similar to the tablet devices sometimes seen on golf carts or smartphone score management apps. After playing, pressing the "Submit" button will automatically tally the scores in Compekun. For details, please refer to "1. Participant Input" in Score Input Help.
This method assumes the most common method of score submission, where participants fill out paper scorecards and submit them to the organizer. Please refer to "2. Organizer Input" in Score Input Help.
